The Ministry of Prayer

Prayer is one of the greatest privileges and responsibilities given to the believer. Through prayer, we communicate with God, seek His wisdom, and participate in His work. In Colossians 1, Paul gives us a glimpse into his prayer life for the believers at Colossae. Rather than focusing primarily on physical needs or circumstances, Paul prayed for their spiritual growth, maturity, and effectiveness. His example teaches us that prayer is more than presenting requests—it is a ministry through which we encourage, strengthen, and support others in their walk with God.
