Following Christ is more than simply believing in Him—it is a call to become His disciple. When Jesus said, “Follow Me,” He was calling people to leave behind their own priorities and surrender themselves to His will. A disciple learns from Christ, grows to become more like Christ, and willingly follows Christ wherever He leads. This kind of discipleship requires commitment, sacrifice, and a heart that is willing to obey. As we continue examining the core values of a disciple, we come to the value of service. A true disciple does not simply receive from Christ but looks for opportunities to serve Christ and others. Service is not merely something we do; it is an expression of our love, gratitude, and submission to the One we have chosen to follow.
