The Avenues of Adoration

Psalm 145 is one of the greatest songs of praise in all of Scripture. Written by David, it is a psalm entirely devoted to magnifying the Lord. There are no requests, complaints, or petitions—only worship. David's heart overflows with adoration as he reflects upon God's greatness, goodness, power, mercy, and faithfulness. As we walk through this psalm, we discover several "avenues" or pathways that lead believers into genuine worship. True adoration is not based on feelings or circumstances but on who God is and what He has done.
