Faith Leads To Action

Faith is not merely believing that God can do something—it is responding in obedience when He calls us to act. In Matthew 14, the disciples found themselves in the middle of a storm when they saw Jesus walking on the water. While the other disciples remained in the boat, Peter made a bold request: "Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water." When Jesus simply replied, "Come," Peter stepped out of the boat and walked on the water. Though Peter's faith was imperfect, his willingness to act upon Christ's command demonstrates an important truth: genuine faith moves beyond belief and leads to obedience.

This message challenges believers to trust God's Word enough to step out in faith when He calls.
