Faith in Action
May 26, 2024 • Ben Bateman
Faith is more than words, knowledge, or good intentions—it is demonstrated through action. In James 2, believers are challenged to examine whether their faith is genuine by looking at the evidence it produces. James is not teaching that good works save us; rather, he teaches that saving faith naturally results in a transformed life. Just as a healthy tree produces fruit, authentic faith produces obedience, compassion, and service. A faith that never affects the way we live is a faith that should be examined. True faith is not merely believed—it is lived.
