Finding Our Way Forward

Dec 10, 2023    Pastor Jeffrey Bateman

Every believer faces moments when the path ahead seems uncertain. We may look back with regret over past failures, frustration over unmet goals, or discouragement over present struggles. In Philippians 3, the Apostle Paul shares his perspective on spiritual growth and perseverance. Despite his accomplishments and spiritual maturity, Paul recognized that he had not yet arrived. Instead of dwelling on the past, he focused on pressing forward toward the purpose God had for him. His example teaches us that the Christian life is not about perfection but progression. When we keep our eyes on Christ, we can find our way forward no matter where we are today.
