The Gifts That We Should Give

When we think of Christmas, we often think of giving and receiving gifts. In Matthew 2, the wise men traveled a great distance to find the newborn King and presented Him with gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. While these gifts were significant and meaningful, the greatest lesson is not what they gave but why they gave it. The wise men understood that Jesus was worthy of worship, sacrifice, and devotion. Their example teaches us that while we may not bring gold, frankincense, and myrrh today, there are gifts that every believer should bring to Christ.
