The Church In Service

After His resurrection, Jesus appeared to His disciples as they returned to fishing on the Sea of Galilee. Despite a long night of labor, they caught nothing until they followed Christ's instruction and cast their net once more. This miraculous catch reminded them that fruitful ministry is only possible through dependence upon the Lord. As Jesus prepared breakfast for His disciples on the shore, He demonstrated His continued care for them and reinforced an important truth: believers are called to serve, but they must serve in His strength, according to His direction, and for His glory.
