Our Response to God's Goodness

Psalm 103 is one of the Bible's greatest songs of praise. As David reflects on the goodness, mercy, forgiveness, and faithfulness of God, he repeatedly calls his own soul to bless the Lord. Rather than focusing on his circumstances, David focuses on God's character and His countless blessings. This psalm reminds believers that God's goodness deserves more than occasional acknowledgment—it deserves a wholehearted response of worship, gratitude, obedience, and trust. When we truly understand how good God has been to us, our lives should naturally overflow with praise.
