A Pattern For Prayer

The life of Hezekiah provides a powerful example of what it means to trust God in difficult circumstances. Before God used Hezekiah to lead Judah through national crises and miraculous deliverances, Hezekiah had already established a life marked by faith, obedience, and dependence upon the Lord. His relationship with God became the foundation for his prayer life. While this passage does not record a specific prayer, it reveals the qualities that prepared Hezekiah to seek God effectively when challenges arose. Through his example, believers can learn a biblical pattern for developing a life of prayer that is rooted in trust, obedience, and unwavering faith.
