While We're Waiting

As believers, we are living in anticipation of the return of Jesus Christ. Yet waiting can often be difficult. In a world filled with uncertainty, wickedness, and distractions, it is easy to become discouraged or distracted while we await the fulfillment of God's promises. Peter reminds believers that the Lord's delay is not evidence of forgetfulness but of His patience and mercy. Rather than becoming complacent, Christians are called to live with purpose while they wait. The return of Christ should motivate us to holy living, faithful service, doctrinal stability, and continual spiritual growth.
