The Call of the Cross

The cross stands at the center of the Gospel message and represents the greatest demonstration of God's love, mercy, and grace. As Jesus hung between two criminals, suffering for the sins of the world, every person present was forced to make a decision about who He was. One thief rejected Him, while the other turned to Him in faith and received the promise of eternal life. The scene at Calvary reveals that the cross is more than a historical event—it is a call. It calls sinners to repentance, believers to surrender, and all people to place their faith in Jesus Christ.
