Who's Son Is He?

Throughout His earthly ministry, Jesus answered countless questions. Yet in Matthew 22, He turns the tables and asks a question of His own. It was not a question about politics, religion, or tradition. It was the most important question anyone could ever answer: "What think ye of Christ?" and "Whose son is he?" The Pharisees quickly answered that the Messiah was the Son of David, but Jesus used their response to reveal a deeper truth—that He was not only David's Son, but David's Lord. This question strikes at the heart of the Gospel because what we believe about Jesus determines our eternity.
