Ready or Reluctant To Serve

God often calls His people to tasks that stretch their comfort zones, challenge their preferences, and require complete trust in Him. The story of Jonah is not merely about a great fish—it is about a servant of God who struggled with obedience. Jonah knew what God wanted him to do, yet he initially chose reluctance over readiness. Throughout the book, God patiently worked in Jonah's life, teaching him about obedience, compassion, and surrender. Jonah's story forces us to ask a personal question: When God calls, are we ready to serve, or are we reluctant to obey?
