Ready and Able To Stand

The Christian life is not lived on neutral ground. Every believer is engaged in a spiritual battle against an enemy who seeks to discourage, deceive, and defeat God's people. Yet God has not left His children defenseless. In Ephesians 6, Paul concludes his letter by reminding believers that victory is possible when they rely upon God's strength and utilize the spiritual armor He has provided. The goal of the Christian soldier is not merely to survive the battle, but to stand firm in faith, truth, and obedience. When believers are properly equipped, they can be ready and able to stand against every attack of the enemy.
