Bountifully Blessed

Every believer has been blessed far beyond what they deserve. Yet in Psalm 119:41-48, the psalmist recognizes that God's blessings are not merely material or temporary. The greatest blessings are found in God's mercy, salvation, truth, promises, and presence. As the psalmist reflects upon God's goodness, he reveals the attitude of a person who understands what it means to be truly blessed. These blessings strengthen him during opposition, give him confidence before others, and produce a life of joyful obedience.
This passage reminds us that God's richest blessings are spiritual treasures that can never be taken away.
