Blessed to Bless

It is easy to focus on what we need, what we want, and what we don’t have. But Psalm 103 calls us to stop and remember all that God has already done for us. David begins by telling his own soul to “Bless the LORD” and not forget His benefits. God has forgiven us, redeemed us, shown us mercy, and provided for us. We are not blessed simply to enjoy God's blessings for ourselves. We are blessed so that we can be a blessing to others. As we look at Psalm 103:1–5, let’s consider what God has blessed us with and how we can use those blessings to bless others.
