Who Are You Living For?

Life is full of priorities, responsibilities, and pursuits that demand our attention. Yet in the midst of these competing interests, God asks a penetrating question: Who are you living for? In the book of Haggai, God's people had returned from exile with the responsibility of rebuilding the temple, but over time they became distracted by their own comfort, ambitions, and personal projects. While God's house lay in ruins, they focused on building their own houses and securing their own futures. Through the prophet Haggai, God called His people to examine their priorities and realign their lives around His purposes.
