Hide and Seek

From childhood, many people have enjoyed playing hide and seek. The goal is simple: find a place where no one can see you and hope you remain undiscovered. Spiritually, however, many people attempt a similar game with God. They hide their sin, ignore His warnings, delay repentance, and convince themselves that God either does not see or will not act. In Zephaniah's day, Judah had drifted far from God while maintaining an outward appearance of religion. Through the prophet Zephaniah, God delivered a sobering message: no one can hide from His presence, His knowledge, or His coming judgment.
