Faith In Troubling Times

Every believer will face troubling times. Seasons of uncertainty, disappointment, betrayal, fear, and heartache are part of living in a fallen world. Psalm 55 was written during one of David's most painful experiences. He was not simply facing opposition from enemies; he was dealing with betrayal from someone he trusted. Yet in the midst of his distress, David discovered a powerful truth: God is able to carry the burdens that are too heavy for us. Rather than allowing trouble to overwhelm him, David learned to place his burdens into the hands of the Lord.

This passage reminds us that faith is not the absence of burdens—it is knowing where to place them.
