Hello! My wife, Paulette, and I both trusted Christ as young people. We met in a Christian high school and have been married for 46 years. God has blessed us with three children and six grandchildren. We moved to this area in 1997, and the Lord has given us the opportunity to fellowship and serve at Open Door Baptist Church ever since.

I believe a deacon is one who serves God’s family and supports the undershepherd of His church—our pastor. God has set the members in His church as it has pleased Him, with each of us being a part of the body, worshiping and striving together for His glory.

As Care Group leaders, we want to welcome and encourage God’s people in this church family. May the Lord bless us as we walk life’s journey together, sharing the gospel and growing in our faith and love for Him.
