Winning The Wanderers

One of the greatest burdens a believer can experience is watching someone drift away from the truth. The churches of Galatia had begun well, receiving the Gospel with joy and embracing the message of grace. Yet false teachers had entered and led many believers away from the truth Paul had preached. In Galatians 4:12-20, Paul reveals the heart of a spiritual shepherd who longs to see wandering believers return to a right relationship with God. Rather than responding with anger or indifference, Paul responds with love, concern, truth, and persistence. His example teaches us how God calls us to pursue those who have wandered spiritually.
