A Heart Ready For Revival

Revival is often prayed for, preached about, and desired by God's people. Yet true revival is more than a series of meetings or emotional experiences. Revival is the work of God in the hearts of His people, restoring fellowship, renewing spiritual passion, and turning hearts back to Him. In Psalm 85, the psalmist reflects on God's past blessings, acknowledges the nation's spiritual need, and cries out for God to revive His people again. This psalm reveals the attitudes and conditions necessary for genuine revival.
Before revival can happen in a church, a community, or a nation, it must first happen in individual hearts.
